The Hills Are Alive is the oldest and the finest trail race that is held in Southern California. The picturesque progression includes tracking on the City bridle and hiking trails, and the 10K comprises of an attractive circle across the South Coast Botanic Gardens. The Hills Are Alive Race takes place on an annual basis. It is basically a cross country event that is conducted on not very hard equestrian trails. The race is a 5K and 10K Run & 5K fun walk affair. The race will begin and end at Ernie Howlett Park, Rolling Hills Estates, California, USA. You will be able to pick your race packet and register for the race event by visiting the village runner, 1811-A Catalina Ave., Redondo Beach on Friday, August 7th 2015 from 10 A.M.to 6 P.M else the race packets will be provided just before the race or the event begins. You can have the entry forms online and also at RHE City Hall. You will have to pay $30.00 as the registration fees if you register in advance to participate in the event. But the same fees will rise to $40.00 if you register on the day of the event.
